Honeywell Opens European Laboratory for Specialty Additives Business
Reinforced commitment to the PVC Industry
October 22nd, 2003. Honeywell has opened a European application
laboratory for its Specialty Additives business at the company´s
manufacturing site and Research Center in Seelze, Germany. The new
laboratory is fully equipped for plastics processing including Poly
Vinyl Chloride (PVC) and emulsion technology. Click

TLP 4000 Lubricant Packages for Vinyl (PVC) Siding
Customized proprietary TLP 4000 lubricant packages have been developed for high capacity PVC siding extrusion. Special lubricants were combined to reduce melt temperature and to eliminate plate out.
By working closely with customers, Honeywell has developed TLP 4000 packages that deliver significant reductions in plate out and increased production efficiency. This dual benefit offering is clearly superior to competitive products. Continuous contact with customers allows Honeywell to monitor events and trends at customer locations and continuously improve lubricant formulations to meet changing demands.
TLP 2600 Lubricant Packages for Vinyl (PVC) Pipe Extrusion
By improving melt homogeneity and fusion speed, TLP 2600 Lubricants help vinyl processors to increase pipe extrusion rates. Also, cost savings are achieved through the reduction of overweight pipe due to wall thickness variations.
Almost as soon formulations containing TLP 2600 Lubricants are introduced to an extruder, reductions in torque and increases in output are observed. Reduced power consumption (amp) loads allow operators to increase extruder feed rate for even greater production rate gains.
Rheolub 600 Lubricant Packages for Vinyl (PVC) Fencing
Rheolub 600 Lubricant Packages offer wider processing latitude than conventional lubricant systems providing processors with the flexibility to adapt to new products and manufacturing techniques in this rapidly developing industry.
Many PVC fencing extrusion lines are actually modified pipe extrusion lines. However, there is a limit to the amount of modification that is feasible and therefore the equipment design may not optimized for the product being manufactured.
Rheochem lubricants are designed with both the product and the process in mind to maximize production while maintaining the excellent strength and appearance required in this new and demanding application.
